Events

I thoroughly enjoy planning events, both professionally and personally. I have planned a wide range of events, including conferences, community events, baby showers, bridal showers, and more.

I have often included events in my marketing plans. For example, at the end of an oncology campaign I planned a cancer survivor picnic for our oncology patients to celebrate their recovery with their loved ones and our physicians. I designed the invitations, planned the entire event, chose and managed vendors, created marketing collateral, hand crafted the decor, made a photo booth and props, booked a trolly to take attendees to the venue, and managed volunteers as well as all of the day-of tasks. I hand painted hope rocks with various inspirational words for the survivors to take as a gift. I created award certificates for caregivers to give to patients and vice versa. I designed "I'll never forget" cards (in accordance with the campaign theme) for survivors to write a memory on and then to be hung in the oncology office as sources of inspiration for other patients.

As part of the same oncology campaign, I also planned a chemo bag packing party. I bought various branded items for cancer patients to use while receiving treatment. These items included cozy socks to keep them warm, lotion to prevent dry skin from treatment, crossword puzzle books to pass time while receiving chemo, and more. In order to pack over 1,000 bags I asked hospital staff to come to a packing party.

Currently, I supervise an events team comprised of five extremely talented event planners whom are responsible for educational, council, government affairs, corporate networking, and stewardship events.

Creative samples and images from a few of the events I've managed are below.
